With a new product offering, Baileys Irish Cream is getting ahead of the St. Patrick’s Day beverage rush.
Baileys Deliciously Light, a diet-friendly variant of its iconic cocktail, was introduced by the liqueur firm.
Baileys Deliciously Light, which comes in a beautiful white bottle, is created with 40% less sugar than Baileys Original Irish Cream.

In addition, the new cocktail is said to contain 40% fewer calories than Baileys’ normal Irish cream liqueur.
According to the company’s official nutrition statistics, a 2.5-ounce serving of Baileys Deliciously Light contains 7.8 grammes of sugar and 139 calories on average.

On the other hand, one serving of Baileys Original Irish Cream had 13.3 grammes of sugar and 233 calories on average (2.5 ounces).
Despite the fact that Baileys Deliciously Light is a low-sugar, low-calorie liqueur, the alcohol concentration has only been slightly reduced.
The beverage has 16.1 percent alcohol by volume, compared to 17 percent in Baileys Original Irish Cream.
