David bowie wife : Iman is still mourning the death of David Bowie, her “true love.”

The 65-year-old supermodel told Harper’s Bazaar UK that she constantly thinks about the late singer and will “never” marry again.

In the February 2021 issue, she admitted, “David is in our hearts and minds on a daily basis, for all of us.”

“This, you know, was my true love. When my daughter asked if I would ever marry again, I replied, “Never.””

The couple was married from 1992 until the musician died of liver cancer in January 2016. He was 69 years old at the time.

“He’s hiding right in front of your eyes. His music is still relevant, and his fans are still around.

Despite their celebrity statuses, Iman reflected on their marriage and how “normal” they were as a couple.

“It was a very ordinary marriage,” she explained. “He was a very funny, warm gentleman – you know, everyone says he’s futuristic, but he wasn’t; he preferred to dress in a three-piece suit above all else.

It was a lovely, ordinary life, and that was what made it so wonderful.

We could live in New York, walk everywhere, pick up our daughter from school… You know, I wish we had more years.”

Alexandria “Lexi” Zahra Jones, the couple’s daughter, was born in 2000. Bowie was also the father of a child from a previous marriage.

Iman shared a touching message on social media on the fourth anniversary of his death.

She captioned a photo of them hugging, “Sometimes memories sneak out of my eyes and roll down my cheeks.”
