After Jarrod Schulz was charged with domestic abuse, Storage Wars launched an inquiry
Jarrod Schulz : After “Storage Wars” star Jarrod Schulz was charged with domestic abuse, the A&E network reportedly initiated an investigation to decide his future.
According to TMZ, Schulz’s role on the show is “in limbo” until A&E investigates.
Schulz has been charged with one count of domestic violence, a misdemeanour, according to the Orange County District Attorney’s Office.
The event occurred on April 30 in Lake Forest, California, according to the Orange County District Attorney’s office.
According to a lawsuit received by Fox News, Schulz’s victim is a “Jane Doe” with whom he “had a previous relationship.”
The network’s representatives refused to comment on the claimed probe. Schulz’s representative could not be reached.
Schulz and his ex-girlfriend Brandi Passante are at the centre of “Storage Wars,” which began in 2010.
The show hadn’t aired since 2018 until last month, and while there could be a variety of reasons for the break, one could be the former couple’s split.
According to Newsweek, the pair broke up in 2018, as Passante reported on his YouTube channel “The Dad Diary” last summer.
Fans may have been surprised by the divorce, given that their wedding planning was detailed in the “Storage Wars” spin-off “Brandi & Jarrod: Married to the Job” back in 2014 — despite the fact that they never married.
The cause for the breakup is unclear, but Passante, 40, has hinted that it isn’t amicable by releasing a promotional poster for the performance that features her ex with a monster emoji over his face.
The actress has also left hints about the breakup of her romance with Schulz, 43.
Passante revealed she was raising her and Schulz’s two children on her alone in an interview on “The Dad Diary.”
“I did a lot of it on my own anyhow,” she explained at the time, “but it’s the terrifying dad voice in the background that we’re missing.”
She later added, “I have them all the time, they’re here with me 24/7, so I have to negotiate that.”
The exes ran into one other at storage locker auctions in the new season, confirming their split.
In a February interview on the “Spirit Talk” YouTube show, Passante addressed her split with Schulz once more, while also revealing that she isn’t dating anyone seriously — despite Schulz’s social media indicating that he had a new girlfriend.
“For many years, I was not permitted to have an identity. So, over the last few years,
I’ve been growing into my own and figuring out who I am “she stated “It’s just that I’m not attached to anyone.”
