Jesus 2020 Yard Signs: Thousands of people throughout the country are putting up “Jesus 2020” yard signs, despite the fact that he is not a third-party presidential candidate running in November.
From a campaign that began at Sampey Memorial Baptist Church in Ramer, Ala., more than 35,000 signs have been sent to California, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Texas, and other states.
RACE, UNITY, AND FAITH IN ‘AINSLEY’S BIBLE STUDY’: ‘THE BLOOD OF JESUS CHRIST CONNECTS US,’ LAWRENCE JONES SAYS.
“With everything that’s going on, people need Jesus,” Joyce Hubbard, one of the Jesus 2020 co-organizers, told Fox News. “He’s the only person we can rely on.
He’s the one who follows through on his commitments. He’s already the champion.”
Hubbard and her friend Martha Sikes came up with the concept at their small church, which reopened in May but still has several members at home due to the coronavirus outbreak.
In an environment of hopelessness, the two intended to rekindle optimism.
“If everyone focused on Jesus right now, everything would fall into place and we wouldn’t have the difficulties we do,” Hubbard added. “He’s the only one who can help.”
BIDEN-HARRIS TICKET ‘SHOULD BE A GREAT CONCERN TO ALL CHRISTIANS,’ SAYS FRANKLIN GRAHAM.
People from all around the country have ordered signs through the JESUS 2020 Facebook Page, which have been printed at Wells Printing in Montgomery.
“We don’t have to be a megachurch to make a difference. All it takes is a spark for us to want to start flames all over the place “According to Hubbard. “We want to get the name of Jesus out there.”
According to the organisers, churches and entire neighbourhoods have placed orders for the signs because, as Hubbard points out, “once one person gets one, everyone wants one.”
“It’s been fantastic! It’s made a huge difference in people’s lives “According to Hubbard. “People are simply looking for a place to hold on to. Not the signs themselves, but Jesus alone. That’s exactly what we require.”
