Ed is set to appear as a mentor on The Voice in the upcoming Knockout round, which was pre-recorded, so despite being isolated in real life, he will still be included.
The father-of-one announced on Instagram on Sunday that he had tested positive for the sickness and that he was currently self-isolating.
“Hey, fellas,” it said. I just wanted to let you know that I tested positive for Covid and am now self-isolating and adhering to official standards.

“It means I won’t be able to continue with any in-person commitments for the time being, so I’ll be doing as many of my planned interviews/performances from home as I can.” Please accept my apologies if I have disappointed anyone. “Everyone, stay safe.”
