A close friend allegedly killed his father.
Nipsey Hussle reportedly left his child at home and went to his clothing store the day before he killed.
The rapper had purchased the entire shopping center in the past and planned to make it a mixed-use residential/commercial center. He was shot in the right chest, abdomen, and chest. The bullet also penetrated his chest and hit his lung.
Two more people also injured in the shooting. At 3:55 PM, the rapper was declared dead. Nipsey Hussle, 33, died.
Eric Ronald Holder Jr. later identified by police as the shooter. According to reports Holder and Hussle were friends and Holder was suspected of shooting the rapper due to personal problems.
Holder was taken into custody by the Los Angeles Police Department and placed in solitary confinement on April 2, 2019. A grand jury indicted Holder on one count each of murder, attempted murder, assault with a weapon, and possession of firearms by a felon.
Nipsey Hussle held a memorial service at the Staples Centre in Los Angeles on April 11, 2019. The tickets were free of charge. Numerous celebrities expressed their deepest condolences for Hussle’s loved ones. The letter from former President Barack Obama to the Asghedom family was one of them.
Kross Asghedom’s mother was unable to grieve her son’s death.
Kross Asghedom’s father died, and his family and friends were sad. But Lauren London, his partner and mother of his son was the one who was most affected. In 2013, the actress started dating the late rapper.

Nipsey Hussle granted custody of his daughter Emani over her mother, who deemed unfit. Lauren London was granted guardianship of Kross’ estate.
Kross and Kross’ half-sister will each inherit $1 million when they reach the age of 18. His inheritance was administered by his mother.
The legacy of his father
Nipsey Hussle received a community award. An online petition was created to rename the intersection near his store to “Nipsey Hussle Square”. Later, it was announced that the area would be renamed Ermias “Nipsey Hussle” Asghedom Square.
Over 50 murals also painted and dedicated for Hussle. In tribute to Hussle, some artists released tribute songs in 2020 and 2021. One notable example is Deep Reverence by Big Sean. The song was released in August 2020, while the music video was made in March 2021.
