Patti Harrison, born October 31, 1990, is an American comedian and actress. Harrison was the seventh child of seven, born in Orient, Ohio on October 31, 1990. He was the youngest to a Vietnamese mother, and an American father. Her father was a Detroit native and she met her mother while she was cleaning in his barracks during Vietnam War. He died from a heart attack when Harrison was just six years old. She was six years old when he died from a heart attack.

Harrison moved to Los Angeles in 2015 after she started a career as a comedian. Her stand-up comedy style has changed dramatically since her early days as a performer. She was nervous about making jokes about her sexuality and sex due to her transphobia.
In an interview with Vogue, she explained her funny persona: “That’s me: I’m a terrible and foolish person.” In a very deliberate sense, I am an awful, terrible guy on stage – the wickedness is punching up.
Harrison got famous for making jokes about President Trump’s transgender military ban on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. She’s since been in I Think You Should Be Leave, Broad City, and Search Party. A Simple Favor featured her. Co-creator Aidy Bryant urged her to submit through Instagram. She started playing Ruthie on Shrill in 2019. She joined Big Mouth’s fourth season writing crew.

She starred with Rachel Brosnahan, Ziwe Fumudoh and others in Yearly Departed in 2020. In the same year, she began presenting a monthly event called Died and Gone to Heaven at Largo in Los Angeles.
After a prank, Harrison was removed from Twitter in February 2021. She impersonated Nilla Wafers’ account in a spoof corporate pinkwashing. This included a post by the Oreo cookie manufacturer.
Jimmy Kimmel Live! She addressed the subject. She was the first transgender performer in an animated Disney film, appearing as Tail Chief in Raya and the Last Dragon later that year. Harrison’s personal life Harrison was transgender shortly after she dropped out of Ohio University. Harrison says her family supported Harrison. In 2021, she was diagnosed with ADHD.
She told The New Yorker that she waited until “so annoyed with her inability just to remain on track” before seeking a diagnosis. Patti is also an artist who shares her work often on Instagram. She has walked on the Democratic Socialists’ campaign trail.
