Scottie Pippen was a rookie in the NBA on November 7, 1987, when the Chicago Bulls played the Philadelphia 76ers. This was his first game that season. In just 23 minutes, he had scored 10 points, 2 steals and 4 assists. The season-opening game was won by the Chicago Bulls. The Bulls reached the semi-finals after he took over the small forward spot during the 1988 NBA playoffs.
