Slash Electric Alexander Edwards: On Instagram early Friday, Alexander “AE” Edwards announced the birth of his son with the model. Slash Electric Alexander Edwards is the name given to the couple’s newborn son.
Edwards also expressed gratitude to Rose for loving him enough to give birth to his son. He said that he could never be as strong as she was and referred to their newborn son as a “rockstar.”
Edwards’ news came shortly after Rose announced on her Instagram Stories that she was pregnant.
Slash Electric Alexander Edwards Welcome Baby Boy
The couple’s first child together is a baby boy. Rose and rapper Wiz Khalifa have a 6-year-old son named Sebastian Taylor Thomaz.
Rose announced her pregnancy in April with an Instagram post that included a photo of herself obtaining a sonogram.
@ae4president and I are ecstatic to share that we are expecting a Sweet little Baby Boy!” she posted. “P.S. Sebastian is ecstatic to have a big brother!”
Edwards captioned the same photo on his Instagram account, ” “My SON will shine even in the dark. Thank you, darling, for giving me my greatest gift… I’m in love with you.”
Rose gave fans a firsthand glimpse at what it’s like to be nine months pregnant earlier this month.
The actress posted a video to Instagram showing off her very big belly and discussing the challenges she was facing as her pregnancy neared its end.
“I’m nine months pregnant as of today, y’all,” she stated. “That’s a huge boy in there; it’s not a game.”
She then turns to the side to show the crowd her stomach.
“At this time, I’m very much on bed rest,” Rose explained. “I can’t walk very well; my ankles and feet have swollen a little, but I’m all belly.”
In October, Rose and Edwards made their relationship public. Rose and Wiz Khalifa were married for 14 months before separating in September 2014.
