Tom Sizemore Rep Says Family Will Decide His End-of-life Issues

According to Charles Lago, Sizemore’s manager, the family of actor Tom Sizemore are currently “deciding end-of-life matters” after receiving an update from doctors. CNN received this statement Monday evening.

“Today, doctors informed his loved ones that there is no hope for him and recommended an end-of-life decision. “The family is currently deciding on end-of-life matters. A further statement will be make Wednesday,” said the statement.

We ask for privacy for his family. They would like to thank everyone who has sent them hundreds of prayers and messages of support. It has been difficult for them.”

Sizemore, 61 years old, was admitt to intensive care earlier this month after suffering a cerebral aneurysm. Lago stated that Tom was in critical condition since then, and has been in intensive care as well as in a coma.

Sizemore, a Detroit native, had an early role in the Oliver Stone 1989 film “Born on the Fourth of July.” He then got his break on television as Sgt. Vinnie Ventresca was also in the ABC series, “China Beach.”

In the 1990s and 2000s, he appeared in many hit war and crime movies including “Heat,” Natural Born Killers,” Pearl Harbor, and “Black Hawk Down.”

Perhaps his most famous role is that of Sgt. Mike Horvath, in “Saving Private Ryan”, is a World War II movie.

Sizemore also had notable roles in “The Relic,” Tru Romance, and “Bringing Out the Dead,” which direct by Martin Scorsese and co-starring Nicolas Cage.

In 2000, the actor won a Golden Globe nomination for best performance in a miniseries/motion picture made for TV for his role as “Witness Protection.”

He was also seen in recent episodes of “Twin Peaks”, and “Cobra Kai”

Sizemore was a long-term victim of drug addiction. He also had several legal problems throughout his career.

In 2003, he was convict of domestic violence in relation to his relationship with Heidi Fleiss. In a 2010 interview, he told CNN’s Larry King that he was addict to heroin, cocaine, and meth. He also participated in the 2010 season of the reality TV show “Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew.”
