Emily Compagno: (born November 9, 1979) is an American attorney, television host, and former NFL cheerleader who presently works for Fox News Channel (FNC). Outnumbered has her as a co-host.

Early life and education of Emily Compagno

Compagno was born in Oak Knoll Naval Hospital in East Oakland, California.

Katherine (née Bertsch) and John Compagno reared their daughter in El Cerrito, California. Her father has Italian ancestors. She is the younger of two sisters. During World War I, her great-grandfather, William Harry Bertsch, was awarded the Silver Star; Emily’s middle name, “Rose,” is a tribute to Bertsch’s wife.

She earned a B.A. in Political Science from the University of Washington, where she was named Cadet of the Quarter by the Air Force Reserve Officer Training Corps.

In 2006, she received her J.D. from the University of San Francisco School of Law.

Career of Emily Compagno

She worked as a criminal defense attorney in San Francisco after passing the California bar while concurrently serving as captain of the Oakland Raiders cheerleading squad, the Raiderettes.

She was chosen as an NFL Ambassador and promoted the NFL brand in Beijing and Shanghai, and was one of five NFL cheerleaders chosen by the USO to visit U.S. troops in Iraq and Kuwait.

Compagno worked as a Senior Judge Judicial Extern at the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit for John T. Noonan.

She then went on to work for the Social Security Administration as a federal attorney. She’s worked as a lawyer in both Cape Town, South Africa, and Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

Compagno got a role as a contributor and legal commentator at Fox News in 2018. She was a semi-regular co-host of the weekday talk show The Five, and she also appears on other FNC shows like Gutfeld!, expressing thoughts or legal analysis on current events.

The first season of Crimes That Changed America, a Fox Nation show hosted by Compagno, premiered on March 9, 2020.

On January 25, 2021, Compagno has named a permanent co-host of Outnumbered. Harris Faulkner and Kayleigh Summer Walker are her co-hosts, though she occasionally guest co-hosts The Five.

Private life of Emily Compagno

On September 13, 2017, she married Pete Riley at Hotel Villa Cimbrone in Ravello, Italy, on the Amalfi Coast, whom she met as a teenager and reconnected with on a Seattle sidewalk.

The wedding photographers, Jos and Tree WoodSmith, classified it as an elopement because there were no guests.
