Zahos was also a television producer and is best known for his work on the TV show “Five minutes from Zachos Zahos Hadjifotiou.”

He was a playboy for most of his adult life, and also a prominent member the international and Greek jet-set. Tzeni Karezi was one of the many romances in his adult life. He married her in 1962. Karezi was more than a talented actress on screen and on camera. She was also an activist for many issues right up to the end. Their wedding was the most memorable social event in Greece.
