Netflix’s popular South Korean coming-of-age zombie apocalypse horror series has been renewed for season 2, the cast announced during Geeked Week Monday on the streaming service. Based on the 2009 webtoon Now at Our School, this show follows the lives of students at Hyosan High as they battle a zombie outbreak while trapped within its overrun halls – which ultimately becomes ground zero of Zombieland.

Variety reports that Netflix’s second annual Geeked Week seeks to establish itself as the go-to streaming platform for Asian horror and sci-fi genre content. According to Netflix, Asian horror viewership has seen a spike of up to 30% on their platform, while sci-fi viewing increased by 20% across Asia-Pacific from 2020-2021.
