Worley called 911 and casually stated that Worley had stabbed himself and that he had killed his two children. The dispatcher then asked Brandi’s mother to come check on her children. Jason, who had been sleeping in the basement, was woken by the screams of his grandmother. Brandi, who was emotionless, told Jason that he couldn’t take the children from him.

Tyler and Charlee were buried in Darlington’s Greenlawn Cemetery a few days after they died. The case was gaining international attention thanks to YouTuber Philip DeFranco’s efforts.
Jason told Philip on Reddit that his kids liked his work. Philip posted a video saying the person who saved two children stole their futures. Jason died with love.
Philip encouraged people to donate to Jason’s GoFundMe account. In a few weeks, it surpassed $50,000, and people still donate. Brandi pleaded guilty to felony murder twice.
Brandi had recovered from self-inflicted wounds when prosecutors charged her. Worley claimed insanity while awaiting trial.
