According to WJXT TV, hundreds of people dressed up in aqua, turquoise, and teal colours one year after Tristyn’s May 2022 death.
Former cheerleading teammates wore tshirts that said: “We cheer on Tristyn.”
Tristyn’s Family, also known as the Bailey 7 released a statement saying they were working on several initiatives in her honor.
These included coordinating with youth mental health programs and organizing awards in Tristyn’s name for former cheerleading or lacrosse teams.
The family statement stated that “Through actsof kindness and love as one community, we can drive out the evil together.”
