Season 2 of Country Comfort, a Netflix Original comedy series about family comedy, was created by Caryn Lucas. Country Comfort is the 20th original Netflix comedy. Baily, a young country singer and singer, is offered a job as a nanny to Beau, a rugged cowboy.
Her personal life is devastated and her career suffers major setbacks. Although the previous nine nannies were unable to keep up with Beau and his five children, Bailey fills the gap. Beau’s musically gifted family could be what Bailey needs in order to get her career on track.
George Mooradian was awarded a Primetime Emmy Award in Outstanding Cinematography of a Multi-Camera Series. This award was for his work on Crazy. Among the competitors were The Connors, Last Man Standing, and Netflix’s The Upshaw’s.
Country Comfort Season 2 Renewal Status at Netflix Status
Netflix Official Renewal Status: Canceled July 3, 2021. Unfortunately, early signs indicated that Country Comfort would not continue for a second series. The program quickly fell out of the top ten list in the world. For ten days, it was not in the top ten of the United States. Renewals require that the program survive for at least 30 consecutive days in one place.
Deadline argues that the first seasons serve as pilots. This is why Country Comfort was canceled. But to us it’s just smart PR. According to Eddie Cibrian who stated that Season 2 was decided in the middle of May 2021. He said, “We’re so close to finding out what y’all have been asking for…Season 2!”
This weekend, we need all the Country Comforters (just made that up) to watch, replay and encourage others to watch and rewatch so Netflix Family and Netflix can make an easy decision!
We’ve already noted that Netflix has had a difficult time with multi-cam comedy, but their comedy collection seems to be a constant source of strain.
It was expected that it would be cancelled unless there were major shifts in viewing. Deadline reports that Country Comfort and a host of other Netflix comedy were cancelled in July 2021. The program was not saved by winning an Emmy.
Unfortunately, cast and crew have not responded online to the cancellation in an official capacity, via social media, or any other means.
Country Comfort Season 2: What we could have hoped for
Baily was without a band when Boone announced that he would be leaving the competition in order to tour with Keith Urban. Despite Baily’s attempts to withdraw from the competition she ended up performing “Bless the Broken Road”, alongside Beau and Beau’s children.
In the second season, the results of the tournament will be announced. Bailey, however, is still without Boone. We may also see Beau’s children joining Bailey for future performances.
Jo was informed by Tuck that Brody, his brother, loves Jo. Thus, a relationship between the teenagers is possible.
Summer and Beau are passionate over the protestations made by some of the children. Summer wants a ring, but too much pressure may cause Beau to run away.
Baily is loved by the kids, and Beau has a lot of respect for him. If anything happens between Summer & Beau, perhaps a new relationship between Bailey & Beau.
