The tragic incident Dog attack on 5 Years Old has once again brought to light the dangers posed by stray dogs, with many sharing images of their attack on social media platforms.
On Sunday morning in Hyderabad, a pack of stray dogs ambushed and killed a five-year-old boy. Grabbing footage capture by CCTV camera near Amberpet premises where his father work as a security guard, the incident was horrifically recorded.
Pradeep had come with his father to work when three dogs came charging toward them and attacked. In the video, you can see Pradeep walking alone before three large dogs charged him from behind and began charging toward him, pushing him down onto the ground while pulling at his clothes as he struggled for freedom.
Every time Pradeep attempted to get up from there, they attacked and bit him all over. Three smaller dogs appeared nearby watching as these larger canines kept biting and pulling the child into a corner until eventually leaving him dead from what appears to be an attack.
Police reported that no formal complaint has been lodged by the family in this incident.
Telangana Municipal Administration Minister KT Rama Rao expressed his deep sorrow over the tragedy, offering his deep condolences to the family and vowing that he would do everything in his power to prevent a repeat.
The minister stated, “We have established animal care centers and birth control centers to address this challenge. We strive to treat animals humanely as well. Biological waste disposal is an urgent problem – when there’s an incident like this there’s usually much outcry and controversy. We will do all that we can to put a stop to it.”
On Tuesday afternoon, Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation Mayor Vijayalakshmi Gadwal called an emergency meeting to strategize ways to prevent such a devastating tragedy from repeating.
This tragic event has once again brought to light the dangers of stray dogs, with many sharing images of the attack on a 5-Year-Old child on social media and demanding strict action from authorities.
Two weeks prior, a four-year-old boy died after being attack by stray dogs in Gujarat’s Surat. Additionally, over 80 people were hospitalize in Bihar’s Arrah district last January as a stray dog went on a biting spree.

The issue has even reached the courts, with the Bombay High Court insisting on a system for neutering, feeding, grooming, and vaccination of stray dogs.
The court made its ruling while hearing a petition from residents of an apartment complex in Mumbai, who demanded that the local civic body designate feeding areas for stray dogs.
