On Monday night, an Ahmedabad teenager’s boyfriend leaked teen leaks intimate video to three of his friends who then spread it further. As a result, she took her life by hanging herself from her house ceiling due to depression.
On Tuesday morning, police in Gujarat’s Ahmedabad reported that a 16-year-old girl had allegedly committed suicide after her boyfriend leaked their intimate video. Police are investigating the incident.
On Monday evening, she took her life by hanging from the ceiling of her house due to depression, according to an official.
“Her boyfriend leaked her intimate video to three of his friends who then distributed it further,” the man revealed. “On February 29th, her parents lodged a rape complaint against him after becoming aware of the leak,” he continued.
“The girl became depressed after the video leaked and ultimately took her life on Monday evening,” Inspector Hemant Patel of Sardarnagar police station reported. The teen leaks girl and her boyfriend had shot an intimate video with each other’s consent, but unfortunately for him, it was leaked to his friends,” Patel added.
“The boyfriend has been charged with rape under the Indian Penal Code and Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act, while his three friends were charged under the Information Technology Act for circulating the video. Three of the four accused have been arrested,” he revealed. “All four accused have been booked.”
