Manuel Turizo Zapata (or Manuel Turizo in Colombian music) is a Colombian singer/composer of the urban genre. He known for his works like global lyrics and a promise of musical excellence. He born in Montera (Colombia) on April 12, 2001.
His mother and brother, who were musicians, instilled in him a love for music. He inspired by this and began to learn how to play the guitar, ukulele, saxophone and piano.
Manuel Turizo was originally going to be a doctor but decided to sing and began taking lessons with a Cuban voice coach. These lessons helped him improve his voice and make himself a top-notch singer.
Manuel’s Professional Life
Manuel Turizo born in Montera, Colombia. He began writing music at the age of thirteen. His parents gave Turizo’s brother Julian, then two years old, a guitar and microphone to “keep him from being jealous” of all the attention they lavished on Manuel when he born.
Years later, Turizo tried to play guitar with his brother but couldn’t. He started singing and became better. Turizo changed careers after receiving training from a Cuban musician.

Within a year of its launch, “Una Lady Como T”, has more than 225 million Spotify streams. In 2017, “Besame” released in collaboration with Valentino (Puerto Rican reggaeton musician). Billboard named Turizo as one of the “10 Latin Artists To Watch in 2018” because of its popularity.
Turizo’s duet performance with Ozuna on “Vaina Loca”, earned him his first Billboard Hot 100 charting success. It reached number 94 and stayed there for two more weeks. He released “Desconocidos” in October 2018 with Mau y Ricky.
His track “Sola” topped the Billboard Latin Airplay Chart in March 2019. ADN launched on August 23, 2019. Zion & Lennox, Noriel, Ozuna, Darell, and Nicky Jam collaborated. ADN was sixth on Billboard Hot Latin Albums.
Deezer named Turizo the first Latin “global priority artist” in September 2019. He played on Billboard to raise money for a charity. MusiCares sang “Una Lady Como T” and “Dejala Que Vuelva”.

Julian, one of his brothers, is an actor and has been on stage alongside him. His father was a musician in his own right. He started dating Instagram beauty Joselina Sorza. He has a dog at home whose name is Arya.
