On Thursday, the former “Baywatch” star and animal rights activist took to Twitter to share a pair of Halloween-themed photographs.
Anderson is shown in high-waisted underwear with white paint covering her breasts in the first photograph.
She’s sporting a Native American headdress in her left hand. Anderson poses topless on a stairwell with her back to the camera in the other photo.
She’s wearing the entire big hat this time, and she’s tipping it to the camera.

The actress’s post quickly gained traction on social media, with numerous users claiming that she appears to be appropriating Native American culture.
“I’m sorry to break it to you, Pamela, but this is the quintessential cultural appropriation that people despise.
The traditional headdress of the indigenous people. Not so cool, as one Twitter user put it. Another person said, “Cultural appropriation is not a nice look.”
“How come you care so much about animals but not so much about people who don’t look like you?” Pam, I got it,” wrote a third user.
Someone else remarked, “This is incredibly upsetting and racist Pam, I thought you were better than this.”

Another person stated, “Native Americans are not costumes.”
The actress shared an article titled “The Illogic of Cultural Appropriation” as a response to her critics’ charges of cultural appropriation.
That isn’t to say she hasn’t dealt with her own retaliation. Anderson’s account is said to have blacklisted several individuals after they called out her Halloween outfit.
One user stated, “I’m blocked from Pamela Anderson’s account because I, like many others, expressed my displeasure with her horrible Native-insulting Halloween photographs.” “It’s time to put her in jail.”
