Rapper Coolio Died: Artis Leon Ivey Jr. was an American rapper. Coolio was born August 1, 1963 and died September 28, 2022. Coolio gained worldwide fame as a solo artist during the mid- to late 1990s.

Coolio was a father to a total of six offspring. In 1996, he tied the knot with Josefa Salinas. The year 2000 marked the official beginning of the couple’s separation.

Coolio, who was visiting a Los Angeles friend’s home on September 28, 2022 was found unconscious in a bathroom. First responders discovered that Coolio was dead. He had 59 years of experience at the time of his death.

According to his manager, Coolio appeared to have suffered a cardiac arrest. Police are now investigating the death but it is unlikely that Coolio was the victim of foul play.

Coolio was a Celebrity Big Brother housemate in the United Kingdom’s sixth season in 2009. After multiple arguments with Nadia Almada, Coolio left the house and appeared on UK’s Ultimate Big Brother 2010.

Rachael, a reality TV show on Food Network, featured him as one of eight celebrity contestants. Guy: Celebrity Cook Off in January 2012. He represented the Music Saves Lives Organization. He was also a guest star in Sabrina the Teenage Witch.

Artis Leon Ivey Jr. made it into the world August 1, 1963, in Monessen, Pennsylvania. His primary home during his childhood was Compton, California. He attended Compton Community College before he became a rapper.

Coolio’s first single, “Whatcha Gonna Do?” was released in 1987. He also released the song “What Makes You Dabble (Force Groove)” in 1988 with Nu-Skool.

Coolio became a member the Maad Circle and WC in 1991 after making connections in the L.A. rap scene. The group was led by WC, a rapper. He is acknowledged as a co-contributor to the band’s first album, Ain’t a Damn Thing Changed.
