Rick was not only an excellent radio technician but also one of the most kind and sincere people you could meet. Richard a former mayoral candidate and Wayne Township trustee veteran Richard A. “Rick” Stevenson Sr.  the Democratic trustee Stevenson was originally elected in 2006. He was elected to his fourth-year term last year. During an emotional news conference held at his Superior Street office, he expressed his desire to resign. We will update this page once we have enough data. We will soon add more information about Rick Stevenson’s death cause.

Who Was Rick Stevenson?
Rick was not only an excellent radio technician but also one of the most kind and sincere people you could meet. Engineer Rick Stephenson was part of the train that passed through Wildlife Prairie Park. It was a place he worked for a long time.  Rick has been working on Saturdays since 2009 as an engineer for the railroad and as the company spokesperson. Rick spent his entire career in radio broadcasting. He also recorded audio from his home studio.
He was always available to give updates when trail conditions changed. This ensured that park visitors received the most current information about what was happening while they were on the trail. Rick Stephenson was always available to give updates as conditions changed along the route.  Rick Stephenson was part of the SuperHits WIRL morning program. He is a veteran radio professional and has held positions in Peoria Phoenix, Oakland, Minneapolis Albuquerque, Shreveport, Minneapolis, Minneapolis, and Albuquerque.
