Robert Biden II: President Joe Biden has been in politics since he was first elected to the Senate, at the age of 29, when he was 29 years old.
Now that he is back in government, the world is learning more about his family, which includes his wife, Dr. Jill Biden, and his children Hunter Biden, the late Beau Biden, and Ashley Biden.
However, it’s crucial to recall his grandkids while discussing the Biden family tree. In reality, 78-year-old congressman are in frequent contact with them, despite the pandemic’s social isolation.
Robert Biden II five of my grandchildren
“Every day, I talk to all five of my grandchildren. I talk to them on the phone or text them “During a CNN town hall in March, Biden told Anderson Cooper that his late son Beau’s children lived close enough to stop over and speak.
“We sit on our back porch, and they sit in two chairs on the lawn, and we speak about everything that has happened during the day. And don’t even get me started on being home from school. Who is driving whoever insane, and so forth.
With President Biden’s return to the White House, we’re likely to see more of his grandchildren. In fact, five of his grandchildren—Naomi, 27, Finnegan, 21, and Maisy, 20—as well as Natalie, 17, and Robert Hunter Biden II, 15, the late Beau Biden’s children—participated in the 2020 election, including reciting the Pledge of Allegiance on the first night of the virtual Democratic National Convention.
The four grandchildren participated in a piece on the final night of the convention, detailing how much their grandfather enjoyed ice cream (they treated him to a pint the day he officially accepted his candidacy) and how they encouraged him to run for president in 2020.
Natalie explained, “Pop informed us that this election would be unlike any other election ever,” but the grandchildren were undeterred. Biden, according to Naomi, “We thought we were convening a meeting to discuss whether or not we wanted him to run for president, but it was really to say, “Get in the race.” Please hurry!”
Biden was sworn in as the 46th president on January 20, 2021, thanks to the persuasion of his grandkids. Despite the fact that he will be busy managing the country from the White House, Biden will be able to keep an eye on his adoring grandchildren.
Maisy stated that their “pop” calls on a daily basis in a TODAY show interview with Jenna Bush Hager. “I feel like some people don’t believe us when we say he calls every few days, not just one of us,” she claimed.
First he phones me, then he calls Naomi, then he calls Finn, then he calls Natalie, then he calls Ashley, and lastly he calls young Hunter,” says the narrator.
Natalie said their grandfather communicates with them through their “huge group chat” even when they don’t pick up the phone. “After we may have all refused his call—on a day when we’re all busy,” Maisy says, “he texts us, ‘just tried calling you guys, missed it, love you.”
Naomi, the oldest of Biden’s grandchildren and the first child of Hunter and his ex-wife Kathleen, was born in 1993. Naomi was named after her late aunt, who died at the age of one in a vehicle accident in 1971, in which Joe Biden’s first wife, Neilia, also perished. Naomi received her bachelor’s degree from the University of Pennsylvania’s School of Arts and Sciences in 2016, in the same class as Tiffany Trump.
She went on to Columbia Law School after graduation, graduating in May 2020 in a virtual ceremony with her grandfather as the keynote speaker. She has been an associate in the international law firm Arnold & Porter’s DC office since January.
Naomi has travelled with her grandfather on multiple trips while he was vice president, so she is no stranger to the spotlight. She’s also hung out with President Barack Obama on the court.
The 27-year-old announced her engagement to her longtime partner, University of Pennsylvania law student Peter Neal, in September. Naomi shared a photo of herself and her new fiancé taken in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, with the caption “Forever.”
While quarantining together, the pair established a website to help others figure out how much money they may earn from the CARES Act, a coronavirus stimulus package.
Biden, Finnegan
Although Finnegan doesn’t have her own Instagram account, she does appear on her elder sister’s. Finnegan, Hunter and Kathleen’s second child, was born in 2000 and is named after her great-grandmother, Catherine Eugenia “Jean” Finnegan Biden. While she keeps a low public profile, but she has already campaigned for Biden during his primary campaign earlier this year.

Maisy Biden, the youngest child of Hunter and Kathleen Biden, was born in 2001 and is the same age as Sasha Obama. The two were fast friends, according to the Chicago Tribune, and even attended the elite Sidwell Friends School in Washington, D.C. “Sasha Obama is her best friend.
Said Biden, who missed an event during his primary campaign to witness his granddaughter and Sasha graduate from high school. “We had a big get-together with Barack and Jill and the rest of the family.”
Basketball is a talent for the 20-year-old. According to the Chicago Tribune, Biden said of his granddaughter’s athletic abilities, “Maisy’s a great athlete, I mean for real.”

Natalie Biden, the oldest daughter of the late Beau Biden and his wife Hallie, made numerous appearances during a video piece that aired at the virtual 2020 Democratic National Convention, including one where she assisted in the introduction of her grandma, Jill. “I wouldn’t say she’s your typical grandmother,” Natalie said. “She’s a trickster and a mischief maker.”
When Biden first became vice president, Natalie was a toddler, and she grew up in the spotlight, regularly photographed with her adoring grandfather.

Hunter, Beau and Hallie’s second child, was born in 2006. The young adolescent does not have any public social media accounts, but he has appeared in public with his renowned grandfather on multiple occasions.
