Ex-Mueller prosecutor: The White House is ‘digging a deeper hole’ by failing to answer classified questions

Andrew Weissmann was a leading prosecutor in Mueller’s investigation into ex-President Donald Trump. He criticized the Biden White House over social media for its handling of classified documents, and the media fallout that followed.

“The WH keeps digging a deeper: they have failed so many questions which is very strange if it is all an innocent error,” Weissmann, who was previously Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s “pitbull”, tweeted Saturday.

“Total number and exact location of government documents found, and which classification levels.” The tweet went on. “Why wasn’t this all revealed by Nov/Dec?”

On several occasions, classified documents  found at the office and at Biden’s Wilmington, Delaware residence. These documents date back to November 2, 2013, when Biden’s personal lawyers “unexpectedly” discovered documents marked with classified markings at Penn Biden Center for Diplomacy and Global Engagement.

Republicans also noted that Biden strongly condemned former President Donald Trump for alleged mishandling classified documents. They suggested that the White House is using a double standard.
