Netflix’s Thunder Force, written and directed by Melissa McCarthy’s husband Ben Falcone, is another close collaboration between them. But this is not the first time Melissa McCarthy and Ben Falcone have collaborated – they’ve previously collaborated on several other films as well.
Melissa McCarthy recently commented on Vivian Falcone being cast as Lydia Berman in Thunder Force, noting that her parents Ben and Melissa McCarthy have tried to keep Vivian away from acting but that she is an excellent actress. Ben went on to say they needed somebody aged 12 to play Lydia; Vivian would be perfect since Melissa would still be around to support him at that age.
Ben Falcone spoke in the press statement about his daughter Vivian Falcone’s acting prowess. He said Vivian is just like her mother and can adjust scenes accordingly when asked. Furthermore, Ben added that Vivian is only 12 years old yet she already can do all these adjustments! Apart from Vivian Falcone, Melissa McCarthy’s younger daughter Georgette also stars in the film as “that lady who threw the bus”.
