Who Is khamenei Niece? Farideh Moradkhani is the niece of Iran’s Supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. She called on foreign governments not to have any ties with Iran’s government. According to Mahmoud Moradkhani’s tweet, Moradkhani was taken into custody on Wednesday after she responded to a court order.
Moradkhani, in a video statement that she shared with her brother before her arrest, called on the people of the world to call their governments to end their ties to the Iranian regime amid the protests sweeping the country and to ask their governments “to stop any dealings or negotiations with this regime.”
Farideh Moradkhani Arrested
Farideh Moradkhani is the niece of Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. She has compared her uncle with fascist dictators such as Adolf Hitler or Benito Mussolini. “How long will we continue to see oppression by political dictators in any part the world?” Aren’t Hitler, Mussolini and Ceausescu enough? Moradkhani stated.
Moradkhani’s comments were in the form a video message that Mahmoud Moradkhani, her brother, posted on YouTube Friday. Although it was unclear when the message was recorded, Mahmoud stated that she was taken to prison Wednesday and was later arrested.
“All humanity is seeing that the Iranian people are fighting with the evil force with empty hands and with exceptional courage and bravery,” Moradkhani stated. “At the moment, the Iranian people are alone carrying this burden of human responsibility. They pay with their lives.”
Moradkhani also criticised apparent inaction by the United Nations other than “short, ineffective statements”, as her country is subject to “obvious cruel oppression.” She also attacked the “ridiculous, laughable sanctions” that were imposed on Iranian officials. Moradkhani stated, “For the first ever in human history women are dictating the hidden power of this patriarchal society”
She urged people around the world to call their governments to end supporting “this murderous, child-killing regime”, which she claimed is not loyal to any religious principles of Islam. Moradkhani stated that the brave Iranians were at war with all governments supporting these oppressive rulers.
