New investigation, however, has revealed that governor’s office undercounted patients that were sent back to nursing homes. This is a worrying revelation and could expose residents.

The report says that Cuomo’s office may have undercounted the deaths of residents by as much as 40%. It would have meant that more than 9000 people could have returned to the facilities.
