Bill Hutchinson, star of Marrying Millions, is being sued by a Texas lady for sexual assault and abuse
Bill Hutchinson, star of “Marrying Millions,” is being sued in Texas by a female college student who claims the real estate billionaire sexually assaulted her.
A young woman named Jane Doe has filed a lawsuit against Hutchinson, 63, his real estate investment firm Dunhill Partners, Inc., and Virgin Hotels Dallas, LLC, according to legal documents acquired by Fox News. She is seeking more than $1 million in damages.
The woman is a college student at a prestigious Texas university, where she is studying business.
The young woman alleges her relationship with Hutchinson began on social media through direct messaging, according to a lawsuit filed last Friday in a Dallas district court.
Jane Doe claims she approached the real estate agent for employment help, and he requested that she email him her CV.
Jane Doe claims that what she expected to be a “mentorship” with Hutchinson turned into manipulation.
“Hutchinson knew Jane Doe had experienced a series of hardships that Hutchinson was aware of and used to try to manipulate and seek sex from Jane Doe even though she had told him several times that she was interested in friendship and mentorship from Hutchinson as it pertained to his success in real estate and business,” according to the petition.
Jane Doe claims she was “under the notion that Hutchinson would speak to her about the real estate business and help with her professional chances” when they first met in Dallas.
Jane Doe claims she encountered Hutchinson on or about June 6, 2020, in the Dallas Virgin Hotel, which is owned by Virgin and his firm Dunhill Partners, Inc.
“Hutchinson assaulted Jane Doe and attempted to sexually abuse Jane Doe at this encounter.”
Hutchinson “ordered many alcoholic beverages and delivered alcohol to Jane Doe without identifying her age or determining whether she could legally consume alcohol” during the encounter, according to the filings.
Jane Doe claims she became inebriated and was taken to a “apartment near the hotel that he owned” by Hutchinson.
“Despite the fact that Hutchinson was plainly inebriated, he persisted to touch Jane Doe.
Jane Doe suggested they go to the pool instead of going into the apartment. The docs write, “Unfortunately, she was unable to persuade Hutchinson to go to the pool.”
Hutchinson “pushed Jane Doe down on the bed” and “attempted to force himself onto her,” according to the lawsuit.
“Hutchinson took Jane Doe’s hand in his and pressed it on his penis.”
Despite the fact that Jane Doe was inebriated and unable to consent, Hutchinson refused to let her go.
Jane Doe continually told Hutchinson “no,” but Hutchinson was deafeningly deafeningly deafeningly deafeningly deafeningly deafen According to the complaint, Hutchinson “touched Jane Doe’s breast and buttocks without her consent.”
Hutchinson allegedly told Jane Doe that he wanted to have sex with her and “repeatedly” asked if she was a virgin, according to the lawsuit. She kicked him and then recorded the incident on her phone.
The documents also claim that Hutchinson’s driver told the claimed victim that he had “displayed a similar pattern of behaviour with multiple other young women” and committed “additional sexual assaults and inappropriate behaviour” on the grounds of Dunhill Partners, Inc. and the Virgin hotel.
According to the lawsuit, “Defendant Dunhill and Defendant Virgin were aware of Hutchinson’s predatory and assaultive conduct, but did nothing to stop, prevent, or bar Hutchinson from the Virgin Dallas’ premises.”
Hutchinson is accused of assault and battery, kidnapping, and false detention, according to the lawsuit. It also charges Dunhill and Virgin of negligence and failing to protect, train, or educate their employees.
Hutchinson was arrested last Tuesday, according to Fox News, for allegedly sexually assaulting a teenage girl in his house, which he has denied.
“I am not guilty of this charge or accusation. Anyone who knows me in this city knows that I am incapable of sexual or other forms of assault.
“Hopefully, until I prove my innocence in court, all of my colleagues and friends will give me the benefit of the doubt,” the TV personality stated in a statement to TMZ.
According to the lawsuit, Jane Doe had already recruited attorneys Michelle Simpson Tuegel and trial attorney Jonathan Zendeh Del, but after learning of his arrest last Thursday, she decided to forward with the lawsuit.
In a statement, the victim stated, “It’s now evident to me and to the rest of the world that Bill Hutchinson has assaulted several women.”
“I’m hoping that other women who have suffered in the same way as me would come together to support one another, and that we can all band together and hold him accountable for what he is: a sexual predator.”
“Over the past few days since filing the initial case, we have had a number of folks contacting our office about abusive assaults and harassments by Bill Hutchinson, which I did expect, tragically,” Simpson Tuegel said in a statement to Fox News on Wednesday. We’ve spoken with a number of additional victims as well.
In addition to the victim for whom we filed the complaint on Friday, we now represent two other victims.
“It’s a sad truth, but I believe Bill Hutchinson has been victimising women for decades, predating these assaults, and that there are more women out there.”
We want those other women to know they are not alone, and we want them to have the guts to speak up and report him. It’s critical that he’s held accountable in both civil and criminal courts.
It is a part of that process to report that information, and it can aid other victims.”
“He disregarded our client’s clear instructions and took advantage of a vulnerable young woman seeking expert help.
” Instead, he boozed her up and pressed himself on her,” Zendeh Del continued.
“Virgin Hotels takes any complaints of this nature extremely seriously,” Virgin Hotels said in a statement to Fox News.
Mr. Hutchinson is one of several investors in Virgin Hotels Dallas, and he has agreed to leave his position in the hotel management company.
He will no longer be associated with Virgin Hotels Dallas in any form. We are unable to comment further because this is an ongoing investigation.”
Last week, Hutchinson was charged with sexually assaulting and battering two teenagers.
The reality star has been charged, according to the Orange County District Attorney’s Office in California, after allegedly attacking two 16-year-old females while on vacation in Laguna Beach.
The accusations state that he raped one of the minors “when she was unconscious,” according to the DA. On Tuesday, he entered a not guilty plea and was released on $100,000 bail.
Hutchinson’s representatives did not immediately respond to a request for comment from Fox News.
Hutchinson is a property developer and investor. On Season 2 of Lifetime’s immensely popular reality series “Marrying Millions,” he and his fiancee Brianna Ramirez were one of two returning couples.
