Rumours about a possible conclusion to the series as a TV movie or similar have not stopped. We haven’t seen anything similar in recent times, though we have heard of other similar incidents.
Timeless, a time-travelling television series, canceled by NBC in protest. The show received a movie to wrap up its story. Similar events occurred with NBC’s Manifest. Netflix picked it up for a final season of 20 episodes.
In the final episode of American Gods 3, Shadow Moon (Ricky Whittle), seen bound to Yggdrasil the World Tree. He was holding a death vigil to Mr. Wednesday (Ian McShane), which being held with Laura Moon (Emily Browning), and Mr. Wednesday’s own spear, Gungnir. Laura Moon responsible for killing Mr. Wednesday.
In those last minutes, the body of Mr. Wednesday vanished from the feet of Yggdrasil. Is Mr. Wednesday trying to play fast on us? Now, the question is: What does this mean for Shadow? It is possible that we will never know.
If the show is renewed, we expect that the story will continue. We will also find out what the future holds Bilquis (Yetide Badaki), a character who set off on an exciting adventure on her own in the third season. Let’s not forget about Mr./Ms. World was last seen preparing for a battle between Old Gods & New Gods after Wednesday’s passing.
If there a fourth season, I would be interested in following Shadow’s adventures, if it was to continue. If he accepts his Odin’s divine heritage, the plot will take a surprising and unexpected turn.
