According to the Daily Mail, the claims of dementia will be explored in a documentary by journalist Mobeen Azhar that will air in the United Kingdom this week.

Jamie, 68, claims his daughter, 39, has cognitive deterioration as reason for his continued control over her assets, according to the publication.

Spears intends to speak to the court in person at a future session.
It’s unclear whether her present address has anything to do with the reported dementia claim.
In a hearing on Tuesday, the pop star’s court-appointed lawyer, Samuel D. Ingham III, said he planned to make a request for the singer to “address the court directly” on a “expedited basis” in 30 days.
Ingham III informed Judge Brenda Penny, “The conservatee has requested that I seek from the court a status hearing at which she can address the court directly.
