The 29-year-previous old’s encounters with law enforcement have been a popular target, with many articles mischaracterizing Blake’s previous instances. The idea that Blake was accused or convicted of sexually assaulting a kid is one of the most persistent lies.

Blake is a “pedophile” who “raped a child girl,” according to a Sept. 1 Facebook post; an Aug. 31 post stating he “raped a 15-year-old kid,” an Aug. 26 post saying he went to prison for “raping the 14-year-old,” and an Aug. 24 post saying he is a “Child (16 YO Girl) Rapist,” according to another.
Blake has been accused of sexually abusing a lady.
Blake had an arrest warrant out for him at the Aug. 23 shooting for a case filed in Kenosha County in July.
According to a criminal complaint, Blake allegedly invaded the house of a lady he knew in the early hours of the morning, sexually assaulted her, and then stole her bank card and car keys before escaping in her vehicle. Blake is charged with felony third-degree sexual assault and criminal trespassing, and disorderly conduct in that ongoing case.
Because persons unfamiliar with Wisconsin criminal statutes are misinterpreting this case in online court documents, the child sexual assault accusation appears to have spread.
The charge is listed as third-degree sexual assault in the online court record, with the statute implicated being 940.225(3). (a). The offense is defined as “sexual intercourse with a person without that person’s consent.” (For sexual contact, including aggravating factors such as causing great bodily injury or threatening violence, the more serious first- and second-degree charges apply.)
A different Wisconsin legislation (948.02) details the penalties and definitions for sexual assault on a child, encompassing first- and second-degree sexual assault but not third-degree sexual assault.
One version of this allegation on Facebook contains a screenshot of the Rhode Island statute for third-degree sexual assault, which relates to sexual intercourse with someone 14 or 15 years old, according to fact-check on this topic by checkyourfact.com.
Blake’s sole prior criminal charge came after an altercation in a Racine County pub in September 2015. According to the criminal complaint, Blake was charged with resisting an officer and multiple gun-related offenses after reportedly drawing a handgun in the bar, fleeing, and being caught after a contentious traffic stop.
According to court documents and officials, there were no sexual assault charges in that case, which were dropped in 2018 owing to witness concerns and the age of the then-3-year-old case.
