John gilbert getty : According to Fox News, John Gilbert Getty died as a result of consequences from an accidental overdose.
The reason of death of oil tycoon John Gilbert Getty has been discovered
Getty, 52, died of “cardiomyopathy and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease aggravated by fentanyl toxicity,” the Bexar County Medical Examiner’s Office revealed to Fox News on Tuesday.
Getty is the grandson of oil mogul and art collector J. Paul Getty. His death was described as a “accident.”
Getty, who was also a musician, died in San Antonio, Texas, on November 20, 2020.
Gordon Getty’s death was originally revealed by a spokeswoman for John’s father at the time.

Getty was described as a “skilled musician who liked rock and roll” by the spokeswoman.

Ivy, John’s daughter, posted an emotional tribute to her father on her Instagram account, along with several images of the two.

Andrew Getty, John’s brother, died in 2015 at the age of 47. On March 31, several days after he was last seen alive, he was discovered dead on the bathtub floor of a bedroom in his Studio City hillside house.
Andrew died of an ulcer-related bleeding, but he also had a dangerous quantity of methamphetamine in his system, according to an autopsy report.
The Los Angeles County coroner’s office deemed the death accidental.
Prior to Andrew’s death, John’s cousin, J. Paul Getty III, a former heir to the oil billionaire, died in 2011 at the age of 54, also a former heir to the oil magnate. A stroke was the reason of his death.
Forbes magazine estimated the oil billionaire family’s fortune to be $5 billion in 2014.
It was ranked No. 54 on the list of America’s wealthiest people at the time.
