The plant gods of destruction and attack defeated the sai hero.
Granolah proved too much for Goku in Dragon Ball Super Chapter 73, striking a cunning attack that took the Saiyan hero out of the fight. Then Vegeta entered the fray, vowing to destroy Granolah and extinguish the Cerealians once and for all.
The first stage of that encounter is depicted in Dragon Ball Super Chapter 74, which concludes with Vegeta exhibiting a new transformation.
Vegeta transforms into a Super Saiyan at the start of Dragon Ball Super Chapter 74. While Vegeta doesn’t lose the fight, it’s evident that he’s outmatched and won’t be able to defeat his opponent. Granolah is undeniably the better fighter, as Vegeta confesses, thanks to his use of the Dragon Balls.
However, Vegeta points out that a fight is much more than simply brute power. The Saiyan Prince then dupes Granolah into blowing up the wreckage of a battleship.
Vegeta, on the other hand, purposely duped Granolah into destroying the city so that he could prove that the Cerealian is still learning how to use his newfound power. Regardless of raw potential, Vegeta emphasises the importance of training in order to triumph in a fight. This is most likely a lesson he learned from his losses against Goku in Dragon Ball Z, despite his overwhelming power.
Still, Granolah appears to be the superior fighter, landing a punch on Vegeta’s vital areas shortly after the Saiyan Prince boasts about how much powerful he has become during the fight.
Vegeta, on the other hand, does not suffer the same fate as Goku. Instead, he begins to laugh. The Saiyan Prince then expresses his joy at being able to fight on a planet where he doesn’t have to worry about protecting people. That’s when his new makeover kicks in.
Goku notices that Vegeta’s chi resembles that of a deity from afar. Vegeta then transforms into his previous form, which retains his black hair but greatly bulks up his body.
Vegeta’s face has been changed to mirror Goku’s appearance during his Super Saiyan 3 transformation. As Dragon Ball Super Chapter 74 comes to a close, Vegeta states ominously, “A God of Destruction told me that power acquired only from instinct is unbounded.”
Granolah’s wish could not make him more powerful than divine beings, according to one of the conditions imposed by Planet Cereal’s dragon. So, if Vegeta has truly tapped into the might of a God of Destruction in Dragon Ball Super, he has a strong chance of destroying Granolah.
The Cerealian, for his side, has an incentive to defend Planet Cereal and its inhabitants, giving Vegeta the upper hand over Vegeta, who appears to be entirely intent on destruction. As a result, Vegeta is going to put all he’s learned throughout his time training with Beerus to the test, and the results will undoubtedly be disastrous.
The battle between Vegeta and Granolah will continue in Dragon Ball Super Chapter 75, which will be released on August 18 by Viz Media.
