What was mirabel’s gift Madrigal may have had a gift all along, despite the fact that she was spurned during her gift ceremony in Encanto.
Despite the fact that Encanto portrays Mirabel as being shunned during her gift ceremony in Casita, the character may have had a gift all along. Mirabel Madrigal (Stephanie Beatriz) is different from the rest of her Encanto relatives. The Madrigals all receive magical gifts to aid the family and their community in the film.
Mirabel’s sister Luisa (Jessica Darrow) has incredible strength, and her cousin Dolores (Adassa) gains the ability to hear clearly. Mirabel, on the other hand, does not receive a present in the film, which complicates her relationship with Abuela Alma (Mara Cecilia Botero).
In Encanto, the Madrigals are unaware of their abilities. Alma only knows that the miracle entered her life after the loss of her husband Pedro. Alma gained a magical candle, an enchanted house, and her family began to receive exceptional powers after Pedro died sacrificing himself to preserve his family and village.
Alma is constantly concerned about losing the enchantment and disappointing her family and town, so when Mirabel doesn’t receive a gift on her ceremony day, she is particularly troubled.
Though it appears like Mirabel does not get a gift, Encanto may reveal that she did. When a family member receives a new present, the Madrigals hold a special celebration in Encanto.
The youngster approaches Abuela Alma, touches the enchanted candle, and then reaches for a magical doorknob, which exposes their new Casita room and their new present. During Mirabel’s ceremony, however, the room vanishes when she goes for the door. The door didn’t truly vanish, according to a notion (via Reddit). It simply became the house’s front door.
The Encanto theory concerning Mirabel’s gift is feasible because Mirabel follows in Abuela Alma’s footsteps. Alma admits to Mirabel at the end of the film that she requested Pedro for assistance when she feared the miracle was in jeopardy, and she learns that Pedro sent Mirabel to be the assistance she requires.
Mirabel, like Alma, puts others first and is willing to make sacrifices for the welfare of her family and village. When Mirabel’s image appears on the door of the reconstructed house at the end of the film, it’s clear that Mirabel will take over as family leader from Abuela Alma. However, it’s probable that the Casita’s door was all along Mirabel’s. Casita, after all, is the character who responds to Mirabel the most throughout the movie.
Even while there’s evidence that Mirabel’s gift door moves to the front of the house, it was never a foregone conclusion. Uncle Bruno (John Leguizamo) has a vision that Mirabel would cause Casita to crumble in Encanto, but he assures his niece that her future is uncertain. When Bruno saw his vision, he told Mirabel that there was “no definite fate.”
As a result of the discovery, Mirabel’s gift door was more likely to be moved to the front of the house. It wasn’t, however, there at all times. Mirabel, after all, was the one who genuinely made it happen by prioritising her family. While there is proof that Mirabel’s gift was the front door, the video also demonstrates that Mirabel was not actually blessed. Instead, she earns the key to the house in Encanto’s front door.
