Cosmic Wings: Keep a supply of wet naps on hand. There’s a new method to satisfy your Cheetos and chicken wing cravings all at once.
The new online-only delivery eatery Cosmic Wings offers Cheetos-flavored chicken wings and cheese nibbles, which are similar to fried cheese curds. Dine Brands, the parent company of Applebee’s and IHOP, owns the virtual brand.
Cosmic Wings will be available to purchase through the Uber Eats app starting Wednesday. After that, the food is made at almost 1,300 Applebee’s locations around the country before being delivered by Uber Eats. Orders of $15 or more will not be charged a delivery fee until February 28.
Cosmic Wings your cheetos and chicken
Chef Stephen Bulgarelli, Cosmic Wings’ culinary head, said the Cheetos-inspired boneless and classic wings are smothered in special Cheetos or Cheetos Flamin’ Hot wing sauce.
Wings, Cheetos, and delivery are all things that people want.” On a call regarding the goods produced with Frito-Lay North America, a PepsiCo subsidiary, Bulgarelli remarked, “Our virtual brand delivers on all three.” “You’re going to be blown away by the Flamin’ Hot.
The Cheetos goods, including the cheese bits, are coated in Cheetos dust, which is formally called “Cheetle,” and is either ordinary or spicy depending on the flavor.
Bulgarelli said, “You will see orange on your face; you will see red on your face.” “It’s all part of the adventure.”
Cosmic Wings isn’t the only wing company that only sells its products online.
Brinker International, which owns Chili’s and Maggiano’s, launched its first virtual concept, It’s Just Wings, through DoorDash last summer. More than 1,000 restaurant kitchens produce the wings.
