The Los Angeles County District Attorney said on Aug. 25 that Daniel Silva, 27, had been sentenced to “364 days in jail, five years of formal probation, 250 hours of community service, and a four-year suspended prison sentence.”
The prosecutor published the Ink Master actor for driving and crashing his McLaren sports car into a tree on May 10, killing Corey James Labarre.
According to Deputy District Attorney Yasmin Fardghassemi, Daniel accepted a “no contest plea last month to one felony count of gross vehicular manslaughter.”

The Los Angeles District Attorney’s Office reported on May 19 that former Ink Master star Daniel Silva, 26, has been charged with murder for “killing the passenger in his McLaren sports car after crashing into a tree in Valley Village.”
According to prosecutors, YouTuber Corey La Barrie, 25, is one of the passengers. If convicted, Daniel faces one count of murder and a “potential maximum sentence of 15 years to life in state prison.”

An alumnus of Ink Master Daniel Silva, 26, was charged with murder on May 11 in Los Angeles after a drunk driving incident landed him in the hospital and killed his 25-year-old passenger.
According to an LAPD report acquired by HollywoodLife, Silva lost control of his 2020 McLaren 600LT at around 9:40 p.m. while driving at a “high rate of speed.”
The automobile veered off the road and slammed with a tree and a stop sign. Silva allegedly “exited the vehicle and attempted to flee the scene after the crash, but was stopped by citizens who came to provide aid.”
The incident classifies as a “DUI Fatal Traffic Collision,” yet there is no mention of alcohol intake in the report.

The LA Fire Department transported Silva and his passenger to the hospital with unknown injuries. According to the LAPD, the passenger’s identity, who died as a result of his injuries at the hospital, will not be released until his next of kin notifies.

Silva made it to Ink Master after defeating tattoo artist Ryan Ashley Malarky on Ink Master: Angels.
Silva was one of 16 tattoo artists competing in season 10 of the Paramount Network reality competition series, which pits tattoo artists against one another for a chance to win $100,000 and an editorial feature in Inked magazine.
Silva performed admirably in the demanding technical challenges, which required artists to create unique tattoos on the spot. That season, he finished seventh.

Silva established an online tattooing school where students may enroll in classes and learn vital skills and methods from the Ink Master alum himself.

3. He uses YouTube to show off his unique tattoo designs
Silva launched his YouTube channel (Daniel Silva) in February 2020, and it currently has over 230,000 subscribers.
He’d show off time-lapses of complicated tattoos, talk with other professionals, and tell stories about his time on Ink Master every week.
4. He’s tattooed some of your favorite stars
Daniel stated that he’s tattooed celebrities like YouTuber Brennen Taylor, LA Rams player Jalen Ramsey, and influencer FaZe ADAPT, among others, on his YouTube channel and Instagram page, which has over 1 million followers.
5. He was Homeless as a teenager
He was a homeless adolescent Silva learned to tattoo at the age of 19 and used it to get out of homelessness.
